New development of 5 bedroom family villa - Liguria, Italy

 

The villa plays with the cultural landscape of the Ligurian terraces. This house is composed of two half subterranean volumes arranged on a single floor, following the morphology of the ground. The green roof contributes to the harmonic insertion into the landscape and minimizes  the visual impact of the building

New development of family villa in Ospedaletti, Liguria, Italy

 

The 5 bedroom villa is designed as an L shape pavilion with a central courtyard dividing the living space from the sleeping area. With   an access and parking from above the entrance is located onto the fully glazed courtyard which bring natural light deep into the floor  plan of the living area. Each room of the house offers fantastic views over the gulf and have direct access to an outside terrace and the large infinity pool.

Project of a subterranean house extension of a family house in Rezzo, Liguria, Italy

A new entrance  with a feature staircase build within an existing restored shed leads to a subterranean house extension - a new living space for the old mansion which is connected below ground with a glass roof corridor. The space is characterized by natural light of new picture frame windows which are positioned carefully to capture versatile views into the landscape. Local materials like stone, timber and slate roof tiles contribute to the insertion into the natural environment.

Minimal cabins in Stranda, Norway

 

Stranda Ski Cabin are a series of Compact cabins which are produced offsite, turnkey delivery with fixed fittings and installed on poles. Overlooking the fantastic ski resort of Stranda they are designed with minimal external dimensions while maximising the internal layout with smart and flexible solutions.

The project Pool terrace G shows a transformation of an existing Pool, which structure has been radical amended to maximize the quality of the space. A new organic layout fits harmonically into the terrace. The white stone of the terrace is designed as an urban beach which extents into the water creating a low level surface which invites to lay down and relax. The infinity edge with a 3m high  water cascade creates a liaison between the pool and the sea.

Boutique del mare plays with theatrical effects bringing "on stage“ products of the Mediterranean sea for an exclusive fish shop in  Alassio. The dark interior and accentuated lighting allows the focus entirely on the fresh seafood on display.

New shop fit out and design of a biological Km Zero Fruit and Vegetable shop in Andora. The concept is " Eat healthy, Feel well. " Ply wood fit outs are the base to the natural ingredients which colour the scenery.

Refurbishment and rearrangement of 150sqm house build in the early 70ties. A generous entrance leads into the large living area which opens to the adjacent terrace overlooking the fields and woods. The new family kitchen is relocated in the original winter garden of the house becoming the heart of the home.

The design emphasizes the existing character of the apartment by highlighting the rich materials as existing stone walls and timber ceiling. A new gallery in steel and timber with a steel stair and zen garden converts the space into a timeless home.

Full refurbishment of private apartment  -

Andora, Liguria, Italy

 

Rearrangement and restructuring of a 100 sqm apartment  from the early 70ties into an efficient and modern flat, maximizing the spaces and natural light. A new spacious living area is opening up to the new kitchen. Separated by generous sliding glass doors the spaces are illuminated from opposite sides. The old bathroom layout has been redesigned to two new bathrooms, the main bathroom and one en-suite bathroom to the master bedroom. Storage spaces have been maximized with bespoke build in furniture. A new laundry has been created within a build in wardrobe.

Cala R Beach Club

Cala R Beach Club is a project in Gallura, North Sardinia. Facing the sea the club offers new facilities including a Beach bar, Restaurant, Lounge bar and a series of swimming pools for day and night activities.
Using an organic shape, the entire structure of the proposal is designed to be lightweight in natural timber without concrete or
masonory to have a soft impact onto the beautiful surrounding landscape.

Part of the development are also new sport facilities.

The new Courtyard will be used all year round with new hotel facilities and activities.
